Deputy Minister Mark Okraku Mantey in hot waters after Court ordered for his arrest


Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey has found himself in hot waters.

The Adenta Circuit Court on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 issued an arrest warrant for the Deputy Minister

This follows after he failed to appear before the Court.

According to sources, Mark Okraku Mantey has used his powers to take a land belonging to one Alhaji Toni Baba.

Report says he hired about 3 thugs to molest Toni on the land.

The prosecutor claimed the Deputy Minister and his lawyer failed to come to the court to continue the case but with permission.

Following this, Superintendent Mario told the Court presided over by Judge Sedinam Awo Balokah to grant the police order for Hon Okraku Mantey’s arrest.

The case has been adjourned to February 8, 2022.
