The Ghana Police Service has apologized to the media in the country after they were prevented from filming Rev Owusu Bempah.

Yesterday during the court hearing of the General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, some journalists who went to cover the case were molested by both Ghana Police and the members of Owusu Bempah church.

According to sources, they were not allowed to film the man of God and his accomplices when they were being taken to the courtroom.

Some journalists who tried to do so were harassed. Some members of the church even poured water on their cameras.

However, the Police administration has issued a statement to apologize to the journalists and added that such things will not be allowed to happen again.
