The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kwesi Ofori has confirmed that the woman who went missing in Takoradi was not pregnant.

He made this known in a statement issued this morning from the Police.

According to him, the Police heavily relied on medical experts who have examined Josephine Panyin Mensah after she reappeared to make that declaration.

He added that checks from the European Hospital where she mentioned as the main hospital for her antenatal reviews and assessment proved she last visited the hospital in last year October but without any issue of pregnancy.

The police believe Josephine Payin Mensah may have conspired with other people over her disappearance.

As such, three people have been arrested for investigations.
