“Ghanaians please forgive my mother, she’s a good person” – Akuapem Poloo’s son pleads

Chief, the son of actress Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo has pleaded with Ghanaians to forgive his mother over her nude photo debacle.

The boy issued the apology in a video sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com.

Chief turned seven on Tuesday and to mark the occasion, Akuapem Poloo posted a nude photo of herself squatting in front of him.

She was heavily criticised on social media while Child Rights International issued a statement condemning her actions.

Later, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection also issued a statement condemning Akuapem Poloo. The Ministry also said it will investigate the matter.

She was also invited by the CID and KwasiAboagyeLive.com reported that Akuapem Poloo failed to honor that invitation.

In the new video, the boy asked Ghanaians to forgive his mother because she is a good person.

“Ghanaians please forgive my mother she’s a good person,” he said.

Akuapem Poloo also indicated that she has regretted posting the nude photo.

According to her she has not been herself these past few days and the sadness keeps eating her up.

She stressed that she put the post up because of the pains she went through to give birth to him and had no bad intentions.

She therefore asked Ghanaians to forgive her because the insults were breaking her.

She noted that she was sorry for hurting Ghanaiaans.
