Radio and TV personality, Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart has thrown his weight behind Shatta Wale over Ghanaians supporting their own.
While speaking in a telephone conversation with AJ Poundz and Dr Prekese on Onua TV, he revealed that he has warned his DJ on the morning show, GH Boy not to play any other country songs apart from Ghanaian music.
According to him, they have decided to use the show to promote Ghanaian music and that’s why they took that decision.
Captain Smart’s comment comes after dancehall musician Shatta Wale urged Ghanaians to stop playing Nigerian music in the country because they don’t support us despite our support for them.
He made a lot of examples in his comment which shows that our music can go far despite the local language we use to sing it.
