Former Ghanaian footballer, Nii Odartey Lamptey has reacted after court threw out his former wife’s second appeal.
While speaking in an interview with Sports Obama on Angel FM on Thursday night, he revealed that he still rent a house after 8 years of divorcing his ex wife Gloria Appiah.
Odartey Lartey claimed after he settled her with a 4-bedroom house at Dome, a car and an amount of GHS 200,000, his ex wife filed for an appeal to take his plush 7-bedroom house where she was living before they divorced and as the law states, she had to stay in the house to go for the appeal.
He indicated that for about 8 years now, he has been living in a rented apartment and still waiting for her ex wife to park out the 7-bedroom house in East Legon.
The ex footballer stated that he sometimes cry and ask himself so many questions and added that he gets motivated whenever he sees his children.
According to him, he promised his daughter he will give her the 7-bedroom house when he wins the appeal against his ex wife.
This follows after his daughter wished him well on his way to the court a few days ago.
This is the second time Gloria has lost her appeal as in 2019, the Court of Appeal rejected her claim to the 7-bedroom apartment she sought to own as part of her alimony after their divorce.
