Actor, Will Smith has apologized to Chris Rock and the producers of OSCARS.
This comes after he slapped Chris on stage during the event on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
Will Smith, who picked an award for Best Actor on the night slapped comedian Chris Rock because a joke he did about his wife did not go down well with him.
After he made a funny joke about Chris’ wife known as Jada over her hair loss, Will who was eveb spotted laughing later stormed the stage and slapped Chris in the face.
However, Will Smith has apologized over his actions and claimed he was emotional.
According to him, jokes about his wife, Jada’s health condition was too far for him to bear.
He added that all forms of violence are poisonous and destructive and said his behavior at the Oscars was unacceptable and inexcusable.
Will Smith then apologized to Chris Rock and extended it to the producers of Oscars, the people at the venue and the world at large for his actions.
