In a post sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Barikisu claims she a ghost page on IG purporting to be an online store made off with close to Ghc 1,000 of her money she had paid for delivery of an item.

Speaking in a private conversation with blogger Nkonkonsa, she explained that she saw a swing chair on the page and wanted to purchase it.

According to her, she placed an order on the chair she liked and was told to make payment by the page identified as @_Ringlight.store.

Barikisu indicated that she wanted to pay on delivery but the page admin claimed the only way to deliver the item was to pay for it first.

She then agreed to pay before delivery and that is how she became a victim of the scam. As at now, the admin has delivered the item.

Another broadcast journalist who has fall victim to the scam is Peace FM and UTV’s Yaa Konamah
