An Accra High Court (Criminal Court 2) has sentenced Power FM presenter, Ohene Boamah Bennie into prison custody.
The host of Battle Ground on the Accra based radio station has been jailed 14 days.
The Court presided over by Justice Elfreda Dankyi fined the media personality an amount of GHS 3,000.
This follows after the Attorney General Godfred Dame dragged the broadcaster to court over contempt of court.
After the declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as President elect by the Electoral Commission, Bennie was alleged to have published a video on his Facebook page claiming that Akufo-Addo met eight justices of the Supreme Court to influence.
