President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cut sod for the construction of an Award House in the country.
In a post sighted by KwasiAboagyeLive.com, Nana Addo indicated that the sod was cut for the commencement of construction of ‘Ghana Award House’ on Wednesday, April 7 2021.

According to him, the Ghana Award House is a new administrative building for the Heads of State Award Scheme.
Speaking at the sod cutting event the president said, “I have always been excited about the work being done by the Award Scheme, and that is why I continue to urge them to ensure that as many young Ghanaians as possible benefit from it. To achieve this ambitious target, a befitting administrative office for the Scheme will be required. The provision of a Ghana Award House, to serve this purpose, is my commitment towards driving the agenda of the Award Scheme.”
According to reports, the construction of the building will cost five million cedi (GH¢5 million) and its expected to be completed in the next thirty-six (36) weeks.
