A man young suspected to be murderer, on Monday, March 14, morning, stormed the premises of Oyerepa FM to kill host of the popular afternoon show ‘Oyerepa Afuto’, Eunice Amerley Nortey known as Auntie Naa.
The man came to the premises, told the security officers at the main entrance that he wants to see Auntie Naa. He was asked by the security to join the queue. He refused and went ahead to enter Oyerepa FM’s newsroom to look for her.
But the security officers who rushed to the Newsroom managed to overpower him.
The suspect after a failed attempt was sent to the Police station but the officers there said the man (suspect) is mentally handicapped.
“I was there and the man came. He told me he wants to see Auntie Naa. I asked him to join the queue but he snubbed me and entered into the news room. We then rushed in, stopped him and handed him to the police. But they (Police) told us the man is a mentally challenged person.” Security Officer, Mr. Asabre told Oyerepa online.
