Media personality, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has urged Ghanaians to borrow money from MTN Quick Loan before the SIM registration comes to an end.
The former Happy FM presenter made this statement while speaking in an interview with Kofi Adoma Nwawani on KOFI TV.
Mr Afrifa, who is an advocate of the #FixTheCountry campaign challenged that the Telcos have no right to block anybody’s SIM if they fail to register.
According to him, the Telcos will lose a lot of money if they try to take that action which is backed by the government.
In his submission, he urged Ghanaians to go for at least GHS 500 loan from MTN by mid March to see if they can block their SIM cards.
Okatakyie Afrifa added that he will sue the government and Telcos if they block his number by the end of the registration.
