Onua FM/TV morning show host, Captain Smart has revealed that there was a plot to set him up to take bribe and get arrested.
He revealed this while speaking on ‘Onua Maakye’ on Onua FM/TV.
According to him, he has evidence of corruptible works that go on at Ghana Ports and Harbors and has decided to assist the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in investigations.
Due to this, some people at the harbor tried to set him up and get caught in the act of receiving bribe.
Sharing what actually happened at TV3 premises, Captain Smart born Blessed Godsbrain Smart said one Ahmed who works at the harbor tried to give him an envelope which he believes was money but he refused to take it.
Smart explained that Ahmed told him it was his Christmas gift so he (Captain Smart) told one of his boys to take it.
In an attempt to open the envelope, Ahmed told them not to open it in his presence and that is when some officials from the National Security stormed there to arrest him.
