Popular Ghanaian media personality, Blessed Godsbrain Smart well known as Captain Smart has backed Twene Jonas for insulting leaders involved in galamsey in the country.
While speaking on his show on Smart TV, Captain Smart said the leaders are fools for engaging in galamsey to kill their own people.
According to him, some people from the Minerals Commission gave permission to miners to pollute our water bodies with mercury in the name of galamsey.
He explained that the pollution of the water bodies has given innocent people who drink from it cancer and they have died.

Smart indicated that if Twene Jonas insults them they shouldn’t be angry because they are indeed fools.
