An ardent member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Socrate Safo has bemoaned over lack of information for the communication team of the party.
During a discussion with Halifax Ansah-Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment’ show, the Director for Creative Arts at the National Commission on Culture (NCC) in Ghana was not happy about how some people in the party are sitting on some vital information.
According to him, most of his colleagues are struggling to get information before they go on various radio stations.
He said if the party is to go back to opposition, they should blame it on the unavailability of information which needed to relay to the public on the good policies and developmental projects done by President Akufo-Addo.
“If somebody is listening, they should tell the President that some of us are getting tired…the frustration is too much. We’ve been quiet for far too long, and it looks like some feel that being quiet means you are stupid. No! Being quite is giving people time to reform,” he said.
“We voted for a party, the President is doing whatever he can do but they are people who don’t understand why they are even in office. They are people who don’t understand or value whatever they are assigned to do. Somebody should tell the President something is wrong. We are tired,” a passionate Socrate Safo added.
